The T.J. Community Mission Foundation Welcomes Randy Burns!

Randy Burns has joined the T.J. Regional Health family as the executive director of the T.J. Community Mission Foundation. In his new role, Randy will serve alongside the Foundation board of directors and T.J. Regional Health staff to build upon its successful history to this point, highlighted by the construction of the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home.

Doug Landers, Chairman of the T.J. Community Mission Foundation Board of Directors, said, “We welcome Randy to the T.J. family and believe he will add guidance and direction as the Mission Board works to bring new and exciting projects to the area.”

Before coming to the T.J. Community Mission Foundation, Randy served for three years as the Director of Philanthropy for Major Gifts and Planned Giving for Christian Appalachian Project. Prior to that, he served for 11 years as the Director of Alumni Relations for his alma mater, Lindsey Wilson College. Randy is excited to bring his experience and passion for philanthropic mission, stewardship, and donor care to the T.J. Community Mission Foundation.

“Words cannot express how excited I am to be joining the TJ Community Mission Foundation and the T.J. Regional Health family,” Randy said. “South central Kentucky has always been my home, and to be able to work with families in this region to make a difference in the lives of others is a dream come true.”

A life-long resident of south-central Kentucky, Randy, his wife, Miranda, two daughters, two cats, and their dog live in rural Adair County, where life’s activities revolve around time with family, involvement in their church, and following their girls around volleyball and basketball courts.

Randy welcomes you to reach out if you have questions about how you can become involved with the life-changing work of the T.J. Community Mission Foundation. He can be reached at 270-651-4619 or at randy.burns@tjsamson.org.
