T.J. Regional Health accepts most major health plans, but please feel free to contact us in advance of your appointment to confirm.
A few things to keep in mind if you do have insurance:
- Bring your current membership card with you at the time of registration.
- Remember that hospital insurance plans do not normally fully cover your hospital bill.
- Understand that your insurance coverage is a contract between you and your insurance company—not the hospital.
- Expect additional bills from your doctor/surgeon, radiologist, pathologist, and anesthesiologist.
We will bill your insurance as long as we have complete information, but you are responsible for charges not paid by your insurance.
If your insurance requires you to pre-certify, pre-authorize, or get a second opinion, you and your physician's office must do this prior to your surgery date. If your surgery is elective, it may be cancelled if financial arrangements are not made before surgery.
